Kanna (sceletium tortuosum) also called channa or chewy is a succulent plant that occurs in South Africa and has a long history. The Khoikhoi tribe (hottentots) used it as a euphoric stimulant.
The fermented plant is originally chewed, where the psycho-active substances are absorbed by swallowing the released saliva. Nowadays Kanna has various treatments and extractions. Effects
Kanna ET2 extract is stripped of all plant material and is more concentrated than the other extracts.
